Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders or an equivalent Masters Degree.
  • Eligible for certification by the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

Task Dimensions:

  • Implement and administer policies related to speech-language pathology, including supporting guidelines and collaborating with schools, regions, and community service providers.
  • Provide training on speech-language pathology contributions to student programming.
  • Recommend courses of action regarding speech-language pathology and related services.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and research studies; conduct consultations.
  • Represent the Centre on committees, working groups, and associations.
  • Review, research, compile reports, and prepare correspondence as needed.
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
