Columbia Speech & Language Services offers comprehensive speech therapy for both children and adults. Our services include stuttering help, aphasia treatment, foreign accent reduction, brain injury rehabilitation, autism treatment, children's speech delay, language learning difficulty, voice, stroke recovery, and Parkinson's therapy. Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech-Language Pathologist located in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area, with some work from home, in the clinic and in the community. The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct assessments, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Daily tasks will include developing personalized treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, documenting patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and educating patients and their families about management strategies.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Experience in developing personalized treatment plans and providing therapy sessions
• Ability to document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Effective communication skills to educate patients and their families
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Certification with the appropriate professional body (e.g. ASHA) is required
• Experience in pediatric and/or adult speech therapy is beneficial
• Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills
