Job summary

SE Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide client-centered services in the Toronto region. You will conduct assessments, set goals, and implement personalized treatment plans in home and community settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehab team.

This role offers flexibility as an Independent Contractor or employee, with opportunities to grow and contribute to SE Health’s mission of compassionate care across Canada.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Therapy program and in good standing with the provincial college.
  • Experience in acute rehab, rehab, or community-based rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with rehab teams and adapt to new computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments and formulating goals.
  • Planning and implementing client-centered, goal-directed treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support client progress.

Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Therapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
  • This role follows in-person visits with the clients in their community-based rehabilitation setting
