Overview
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible and accountable to the Manager, Interprofessional Practice for the provision of quality care, assessment, treatment, education and counselling to patients with swallowing and communication impairments as established by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and the standards of speech language pathology care of the hospital. You will work as an active member of a multidisciplinary team. This role primarily supports patients in General Internal Medicine and Complex Continuing Care but there may be coverage requirements in ICU, cardio-respiratory, cardiology, surgery, and paediatrics. Participation in clinical education and staff onboarding are a requirement of this position.
