Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is hiring a Speech–Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat clients in home care. A Master’s in Speech–Language Pathology, current provincial registration, English proficiency, and reliable transportation are required.

The role offers an opportunity for advancement, flexible scheduling, and paid training. The position emphasizes client independence, family education, and thorough documentation, with an hourly wage range of $95–$120 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech–Language Pathology is required.
• Current registration and good standing with the provincial regulatory body are required.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in home care is preferred.
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Provide therapy to support communication, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing safety.
• Educate clients and families on strategies to improve daily functioning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support clients in achieving independence and improved quality of life.

What We Are Looking For:

• A passion for helping clients improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication skills
• Master’s degree in Speech–Language Pathology
• Current registration and good standing with the provincial regulatory body
• Access to reliable transportation
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
• Covid vaccination proof
• Current TB screening and Criminal Record Check
• At least 1 year of clinical experience (home‑care experience is an asset)
