LCSD is looking for two positions for the Speech-Language Pathologist Team. The positions will be replacing retiring staff for a staff compliment of 1.2 to 1.55 FTE. The permanent positions will be outlined for the successful candidates’ skills and desired workday. The Speech and Language Pathologist(s) will provide speech therapy services to schools for children, work with SLP team, and provide direction for SLP-Assistants. The successful candidate(s) will work as part of a highly collaborative team in strategically developing student service plans and guiding staff. The two positions will have the start date that works for the candidate(s) starting as early as January 2025 with the goal of having the full team in place by August 2025. The LCSD Student Services Team has an incredibly positive, supportive and high-energy work environment.

Duties will include the following: addressing individual student priorities for service; school program consultation; and planning, developing and implementing procedures and/or programs to assist students in learning. Prior school-based experience and developed understanding of AAC will be seen as an asset.
