The trust requires a skilled individual who has worked with children and young adults ideally within a school or college setting.

  • You will support students across KS1 -5 through individual, group and/or teacher directed sessions.
  • Responsibilities will also include providing assessments and diagnosis for students.
  • Working alongside the class teachers & lecturers to implement communication strategies, setting and monitoring targets for individual students.
  • You will provide written reports to a professional standard and input for annual reviews.
  • The shortlisted candidate will be required to attend multidisciplinary meetings and work with outside agencies.

For experienced candidates, the trust can offer a competitive salary and a friendly and progressive working environment.

To apply for this role, you will need to have:

  • BSc (Hons) Speech & Language Therapy / Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy
  • Registered with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists and HPC
  • References available from current and previous employers.

  • Be willing to commit to a long term or permanent position.

The trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS if your current DBS is not on the update service.
