Job description

Specialty RN Training Opportunity - Perioperative - Operating Room

Join to apply for the Specialty RN Training Opportunity - Perioperative - Operating Room role at Island Health.

This full-time training program combines theory and practicum to prepare staff to work in the specified Island Health specialty department. Upon completion, staff will be placed into a regular full-time rotation within the department they trained for.

Note: There is an 18-month return of service requirement as a permanent employee within the department. Staff may transfer between departments within the same specialty during this period. The program requires full-time attendance. For more details, visit the Professional Practice Website.

Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. Provides direct nursing care in hospital or community settings, adhering to unit philosophy, policies, and BCCNM standards.
