Duration: 1 year (Extension Conversion Possible)

Location: Toronto, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday - Core business hours, can have night time deployments 9 pm/10 pm - within their working hours. Rotation Schedule: no

Work Type: Hybrid - Monday and Tuesday in the office

Summary:

• The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies (e.g., WebSphere, Informatica, etc.) to support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a solution.
• Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of experience required.
• Development experience in the needed language or technology (e.g., WebSphere, Informatica, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.

Must-Haves:

• Node.js
• React
• Angular (could have either React or Angular – would still consider).

Nice to have:

• FX experience.
• Websockets.
• EDPP and Azure.
