Homewood Health is expanding our network for therapists who can provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other psychotherapy treatments for employees on short-term and long-term disability in BC. This is a contract role with referrals sent occasionally. The ideal candidate will have a strong mental health background and experience in psychotherapy, particularly CBT.

What you'll be doing
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one CBT-focused therapy sessions following standardized procedures
  • Understand factors influencing client recovery
  • Use behavioral activation, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and problem-solving therapies to improve client functioning and participation
  • Communicate regularly with Homewood Health clinical staff via standardized reporting and documentation
What we're looking for
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Registration and authorization to practice Psychotherapy in your province
  • 3 to 5+ years of clinical counseling experience
  • Proficiency with CBT techniques
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as required by Homewood Health
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • French fluency is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
