JOB TITLE: Specialized Consultant, Warehouse & Distribution (WD)
POSITION OPENINGS: 1 (Existing Position)
STATUS: Permanent, Full Time
LOCATION: Home Office Based. Candidates must live within 25km of Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Timmins or North Bay. Candidates maintain a private and safe workspace, and have a high-quality internet connection.
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours/week

Role
Reporting to the Manager, Northern Region, the Specialized Consultant, Warehouse & Distribution (WD) provides specialty services and solutions to our customers in the regions and works across teams to share their expertise. The Specialized Consultant will work within their team, and with communities of practice, to ensure annual goals and objectives aligned to the WSPS strategic plan, and Ministry priorities are accomplished.
The core accountability of the Specialized Consultant is to deliver high quality solutions and services that require subject matter expertise gained through experience and education with the goal of improving overall health and safety, enhancing productivity, quality and morale in the workplaces they work with. The Specialized Consultant will work with others in their practice and across WSPS to enhance the quality and consistency of current services and solutions across the province and ensure WSPS stays current and relevant to workplaces by channeling industry and evidence-based research into new services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Note: Percentages refer to approximate % of time spent on each area, over the course of a given year.
1. DELIVER SERVICES/SOLUTIONS TO CUSTOMERS (60%)
2. RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING, SOLUTIONS AND PROMOTIONS (30%)
3. INTERNAL TRANSITION, SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION (10%)
4. CONTRIBUTES TO A HEALTHY AND SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT (at all times)
