Job description

Enviros helps our clients make strength-based changes to move towards independence within a healthy community.

Enviros focuses on programs tailored to the unique needs of individual clients, practicing experiential learning to provide opportunities for personal discovery and growth.

Relationships are the foundation of our programs and what enables clients to develop skills, healthy trust, and independence.

Since our founding in 1976, Enviros has been an early adopter of new evidence-based best practices and has contributed to developing and informing other best practices.

Why People Choose Enviros

Our vision is: “The Power of Human Relationships Invites Belonging and Inspires Growth”.

The Program – Stride

Enviros is developing a new model of care within the Child Intervention System. STRIDE is a Therapeutic Foster Caregiving model that is family-based, culturally safe, short-term, out-of-home placement designed to support youth with complex needs. This wraparound service involves a highly trained Contracted Agency Caregiver working within a Therapeutic Team, including cultural support, to provide individualized trauma-informed care.

Position Overview

Our Specialized Foster Caregivers provide youth with a safe, caring family home that supports healthy development and meaningful connections until they transition to their forever home. They help youth grow into healthy adulthood through daily experiences. We provide industry-leading training to ensure our caregivers can support and guide youth successfully transitioning out of care.

With a loving, trauma-informed home, youth can remain in a family setting rather than entering group care, homelessness, or worse. Our caregivers can change the trajectory of a child's life with support from our skilled team, including a family coach, therapist, youth specialist, and cultural support, operating from an experiential, strength-based perspective.

Becoming a caregiver with Enviros and the Stride program means receiving extensive support and resources, including:

  • Structured Experiences
  • Coaching and Mentoring

  • Program Support Meetings
  • Cultural and Wellness Supports
  • Individualized Crisis Supports
  • A desire to support youth with complex needs
