Job description

Are you a Specialized Counselling & Consultation Clinician looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Specialized Services department.

Reporting to the site or program leader, the Clinician is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating client care activities within the framework of quality improvement and in accordance with Best Practices and the Northern Health mission statement. The Clinician provides, at the advanced practice level, assessment, treatment, service coordination, and as required, urgent response to the most complex clients, frequently with co-occurring disorders, who may also have serious functional impairment in the domains of physical health and personal, family, financial, occupational, and social life. The Clinician functions as a specialized clinician utilizing a variety of advanced treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients and/or their families with the goal of supporting the services that are provided through the primary care home.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30
