We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team on a casual basis. The nurse will administer infusion therapy across clinics in Guelph, Cambridge, and Hamilton, Ontario.

Role in a Nutshell
  • Provide excellent patient and customer service aligned with GreenShield-NKS values.
  • Administer intravenous therapy and monitor patients under physician supervision.
  • Administer IM/SC injections as prescribed.
  • Respond appropriately to situations where patient safety or well-being is at risk.
  • Follow safety practices and procedures diligently.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting.
  • Report adverse events promptly.
  • Follow nursing practices as per the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
What We Are Looking For
  • At least 2 years of experience with IV therapy.
  • Experience with IV antibiotics and biologics is preferred.
  • Pediatric patient experience is an asset.
  • Willingness to commute to Guelph/Cambridge as needed.
Qualifications
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Registered or committed to registering with RNAO or equivalent for PLP.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS is an asset.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Strong patient assessment and teaching skills.
  • Physical ability to perform required duties.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
