Actalent is looking for a Building Requirement Specialist in the Montreal region

Description

• Create architectural plans based on the construction plans provided by the client in order to provide architectural drawings for the installation of the simulator and equipment.
• Review and evaluate the existing building layout and assess the facilities to accommodate and install the simulator and equipment.
• Create detailed layout plans (top views, side/elevation views, electrical diagrams), address deficiencies and obstacles, and propose solutions to the client and the installation team.
• Provide real-time support to the installation team during the installation process.
• Work both semi-autonomously on projects and as part of a team.
• Occasionally conduct a site assessment (site survey) to validate the accuracy of the facilities and plans, identify other unforeseen deficiencies and obstacles that may affect the simulator installation process, and make any necessary modifications to the plans.
• Must be willing and able to travel abroad frequently to conduct site surveys. A site survey mission can last up to one week on average.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil/building design using AutoCAD - Microstation
• Electrical Engineering background
• Read and Interpret architectural plans
• French an asset
• Remote
• 10%/25% Travel - Requirement, depending on the different clients you will be supporting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
