POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist (HTML, CSS) based in Montreal, QC (Hybrid). The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing the technical aspects of our digital marketing web strategy across both public and private-facing dormakaba websites. Your work will be guided by business requirements and assessed against qualitative and quantitative objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and build responsive email templates using HTML and CSS, and utilize our mail campaign tool to set up, test, and deploy effective email campaigns
• Execute the management, design, development, and implementation of crucial elements in dormakaba's public-facing online and extranet web presence within the Americas, ensuring websites remain relevant, engaging, and up to date
• Implement and optimize SEO strategies to enhance visibility, search engine ranking, and organic traffic, driving greater online presence and engagement
• Enhance website quality and performance through meticulous debugging, continuous updates, and regular test plans to assess effectiveness and efficiency
• Safeguard dormakaba's websites by implementing appropriate security measures and staying updated with industry best practices and competitor websites to remain innovativ

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Computer Science Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years related web development including pipeline experience, managing websites and server technologies
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS is a must
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for graphic editing, resizing, retouching, and creating web-ready images that align with content and branding guidelines
• Knowledge of various Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Contentful, and Webflow, enabling seamless content updates, improved user experiences, and efficient web management processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Required for communications with teams or suppliers outside Quebec

WHAT WE PREFER

• Oral and written communication skills inFrench.
• Ability to prioritize projects aligning with market demands and strategic objectives, successfully planning and executing web development mandates
• Experience with major advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Bing Ads, and others
• Demonstrated expertise in creating visually appealing web forms to optimize user interactions and familiarity with Pardot for effective lead generation and marketing automation
• Significant experience in developing effective landing pages to maximize conversion rates and enhance user engagement on dormakaba's online platforms
