We currently have an opportunity for a full time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role can be based out of our office in Mississauga, ON, our Calgary, AB office, or our Montreal, QC office to support the Voila business unit.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
  1. Support the recruitment process and related staffing support activities for the business.
  2. Development and implementation of best recruitment practices nationally.
  3. Support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle as a partner to the business in building efficiencies.
  4. Build solid relationships with all stakeholders to establish trust and credibility in the delivery of a value-added service.
  5. Assume ownership of the total candidate experience, ensuring all company touch points provide a worthwhile experience for candidates.
  6. Monitor and audit external postings to ensure company brand is maintained with candidates.
  7. Support various talent pipelines to meet business requirements in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Source candidates from various pools.
  9. Support current recruitment initiatives and programs, while seeking opportunities to improve effectiveness and service levels to clients.
  10. Identify and bring forth new methods/options for sourcing channels including the business case and projected ROI for each method.
  11. Offer input on recruitment and retention issues while considering benefit-cost.
  12. Work with Recruitment teams & hiring Managers to identify opportunities for improvement and collaboration on talent acquisition.
What you have to offer:
  1. Educational Background: bachelor's degree in human resources or administration.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in staffing and talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruitment and direct collaboration with hiring managers.
  3. Autonomy & Creativity: Self-starter with innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  4. Team Player: Strong communication and influencing skills with a collaborative mindset.
  5. Sourcing Skills: using various recruitment tools (LI, Indeed, Boolean Searches, Google).
  6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Indeed and Success Factor (an asset).
  7. Language Proficiency: Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, to support collaboration across provinces and national initiatives.

Contractual 14 - 18 months.
