Sobeys offers exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opening for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role can be based out of our offices in Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB; or Montreal, QC, to support the Voila business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment process and related staffing activities for the business.
  • Develop and implement best recruitment practices nationally.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, building efficiencies as a partner to the business.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to establish trust and credibility.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience at all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and audit external postings to maintain company brand integrity.
  • Support talent pipelines to meet business needs promptly and professionally.
  • Source candidates from various pools.
  • Contribute to recruitment initiatives and seek improvements in effectiveness and service levels.
  • Identify and propose new sourcing channels with a business case and projected ROI.
  • Advise on recruitment and retention issues, considering cost-benefit analyses.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams and hiring managers to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in staffing and talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruitment and collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Self-starter with innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, Boolean searches, Google).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Indeed, and SuccessFactors (asset).
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Contract duration: 14-18 months.

Our hybrid work model requires presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week to foster collaboration and support our office culture.
