Job summary

CMHC is seeking a Specialist in Software Engineering (Boomi) to lead the design and implementation of Boomi integrations, connecting SAP SuccessFactors, D365 ERP, and external SaaS providers. You will work with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met, driving continuous improvement across Boomi and SuccessFactors.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in CS or related field and at least 5 years of Boomi integration experience, with strong API design and secure data practices,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and creating integrations in Boomi.
  • Proven experience in developing, deploying, and managing complex integrations and APIs using Boomi.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine system needs and document processes.
  • Author technical specifications and diagrams.
  • Design, develop and implement Boomi configurations according to requirements.
  • Configure and maintain Boomi integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft D365 ERP and external SaaS providers.
  • Monitor, support and troubleshoot integration issues and participate in testing and deployment.
  • Stay updated on Boomi releases and industry trends.

About The Role

Join the Technology and Business Transformation team, in the Specialist in Software Engineering (Boomi) position. Our team is working on the next generations of software applications to enable CMHC to achieve its mission. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and met, all while supporting continuous improvement through CMHC’s Boomi and SuccessFactors systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with the client community to determine their system needs, document the current and proposed business processes, and advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.
  • Author technical specification documents and diagrams for new and existing solutions.
  • Design, develop and implement the Boomi configurations according to business requirements and adhering to best practices to delivery of efficient and quality solutions.
  • Configure and maintain integrations in Boomi with other applications, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft D365 ERP and external providers SaaS using Boomi.
  • Monitor, support and troubleshoot integration issues and participate in the testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
  • Stay updated on new Boomi releases, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve system capabilities.
What You Should Have
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing and creating integrations in Boomi. The candidate must possess advanced skills in designing applications to meet business objectives and be able to create and implement standards, best practices, and reference designs.
  • Proven experience in developing, deploying, and managing complex integrations and APIs using Boomi, ensuring secure data and service interactions.
  • Experience using Web Service APIs (REST SOAP) XML, JSON, Integration Center, SSO Setup.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms; Azure DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and Git.
  • A desire to continuously grow your expertise through learning and professional development.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to solve complex problems and engage in challenging projects.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
  • A Boomi Professional Developer Certification.
  • A SAP SuccessFactors experience or certification in any module such as EC, Time Management, RCM, ONB, PMGM, LMS, CDP, RMK, and IAS.
