Bombardier is seeking a Specialist, Program / Project Control to help shape the manufacturing strategy for new programs and ensure design for manufacturing is embedded in product development.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace manufacturing or industrial engineering, 15+ years in aerospace manufacturing, and at least 5 years in project management delivering results. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across facilities in Canada.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the development of the of manufacturing strategy for new programs.
• Build a robust process for design for manufacturing within the Product Development environment including a clearly defined requirements definition and adherence process.
• Review industry trends in manufacturing innovation and provide strategic recommendations to the company.
• Support the refinement of process standards for Manufacturing Engineering across all Bombardier manufacturing Sites.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in aerospace manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• You have at least 15 years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• You have at least 5 years’ experience in project management delivering proven results.
• You have Product Development experience and understand the Aircraft development phases.
• You have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and gain buy-in for integration initiatives.
• You have demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate multi-functional teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• You have a proven ability to develop and capitalize on new business opportunities, set business goals and deliver on plans.
• You can be Controlled Goods certified and support defense initiatives that may require additional military clearances.

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $ XX,XXX to CAD $ XX,XXX per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.

In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
