This position requires compliance with NERC CIP (North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection). A valid Criminal Record Check must be completed prior to appointment and every seven (7) years thereafter.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are met to maintain NERC CIP compliance.
  • Conduct investigations and compile reports.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement processes, policies, and procedures for organizational strategies and initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on corporate policies and industry standards.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and recommend impactful solutions.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects for strategic planning.
  • Represent the department and present material to internal and external audiences.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and adapt best practices.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams and staff.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent; professional designations such as CPP or PSP are assets.
  • Five (5) years of related experience in physical security, law enforcement, or Genetec Technical experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to handle complex, confidential issues professionally.
  • Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and foster a safety-focused, innovative, and team-oriented culture.
  • Continuous professional development is required.

A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Candidates may undergo assessments such as interviews, tests, case studies, or presentations.
