In this role, you’ll bring systems thinking, operational excellence, and a process-first mindset to help scale our people programs and deliver a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle. You’ll own workflow design, support contractor engagement, and play a key role in enabling smooth, effective recruitment operations.

Join our dynamic People & Values team and play a pivotal role in shaping our culture and delivering exceptional employee experiences. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for people, processes, and performance.

As a Specialist, People & Values Operations you will:

Operational Excellence (60%)

  • Demonstrate a passion for streamlined processes and automation to enhance the candidate and employee experience and deliver business value.
  • Own, improve, and document key People & Values workflows (e.g. onboarding, job changes, offboarding) and process documentation.
  • Execute duties with precision, impacting the candidate and employee experience by demonstrating a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Lead benefits administration for Canada and the US, including enrolments, changes, and vendor support
  • Manage internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely data and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Provide project management support for People & Values projects and initiatives as required.

Contractor and Contract Management (40%):

  • Manage end-to-end contract administration for freelance/contingent hires: agreements, extensions, and tracking
  • Ensure contractor processes are seamless, timely, and compliant
  • Act as liaison between hiring teams, legal, and finance for all contract-related workflows
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to maintain a smooth and professional onboarding experience
  • Work with internal teams to support continuous improvement in how we attract, hire, and onboard

Your Background:

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, people systems, or people analytics
  • Strong systems thinking and a passion for process improvement
  • Advanced Excel skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint as needed)
  • Experience with process-mapping tools (like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through
  • Collaborative and service-oriented with a focus on delivering a great employee experience
  • Comfortable learning new tools and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
  • Experience with platforms such as UKG, DocuSign, or Formstack is strongly preferred
