Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a paediatric physiotherapist to deliver specialist clinical care to children and young people within Perseid special schools. You will manage a defined caseload, work across school, home and clinical settings, and liaise with families, school staff and other professionals to plan evidence-based interventions.

You will contribute to treatment planning, documentation and reviews, while maintaining high standards of clinical governance

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist level of clinical skill in paediatric physiotherapy.
• Manage a clinical caseload of children and young people attending Perseid special schools.
• Assess and treat children with complex needs in school, home or clinical settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Liaise with education staff, parents/carers and other agencies; provide reports and set goals.
• Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and ensure up-to-date records and evaluation of intervention.
• Identify equipment and hydrotherapy needs, demonstrate usage and train clients/carers or staff.
