Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse procurement team. You will be responsible for supporting all of Cameco’s Canadian operations on a temporary full-time basis.

In this role, you will:

Source a range of materials, equipment and services and interact closely with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to value creation from procurement activities, acting as a service provider to our partners at our Canadian operations, as well as participate in the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures
Source best overall value to meet internal customer needs, generate and expedite purchase orders in an SAP environment, develop and execute contracts, and manage vendor on-time delivery
Conduct request for quotation (RFQ) and request for proposals (RFP) as needed
Identify and resolve blocked invoices to ensure efficiency in the procure-to-pay process
Assist in onboarding new suppliers and maintaining supplier databases
Ensure adherence to internal controls, procurement policies, and regulatory requirements
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements

Required:

A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field
Up to three years of experience in the supply chain management procurement field
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
