We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Specialist I supporting our Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.


In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performing a variety of repetitive, skilled manual operations to exacting standards
  • Strict adherence to SOPs and GMPs
  • Reading and understanding product specifications, blueprints, and documentation
  • Assisting in maintaining detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
  • Being responsible for product quality during the manufacturing process
  • Setting grinding wheel, adjusting press station or curve when required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work hours: 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm
  • Travel Requirements: None

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting
  • Punch Press and Grinding experience
  • Strong analytical and mechanical skills
  • Visual acuity
  • Manual Dexterity
