Overview
At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
As part of the HR Automation & Analytics team, and in collaboration with the BES Enterprise Analytics and HR Technology teams, the HR Analytics team is responsible for providing proactive and actionable talent-related insights designed to enhance talent decisions and business outcomes.
The Specialist, HR Analytics uses data analytics and visualization methods to deliver insights that help business and HR leaders make informed decisions to improve talent and business results.

What You Will Do

  1. Actively support HR projects in the Enterprise Analytics portfolio.
  2. Support the maintenance and evolution of HR Analytics operational framework.
  3. Collaborate with the Manager, HR Analytics to develop analytics solutions supporting business decisions.
  4. Define logic and algorithms for data analysis.
  5. Prepare data for insights, reports, visualizations, and dashboards emphasizing usability and good design.
  6. Contribute to reports and dashboards enabling HR to provide actionable intelligence.
  7. Identify trends and opportunities for KPMG.
  8. Perform data mining, trend, and predictive analysis.
  9. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all internal HR-related data.
  10. Ensure compliance with HR data governance standards, working with stakeholders to uphold standards and address gaps.

What You Bring To The Role

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Programs, Stats, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information Management, Data Management, Applied Math, or Applied Statistics.
  2. Knowledge in analytics, statistics, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, mathematics.
  3. Experience managing and processing data from Excel, text, and databases.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.
  5. Strong SQL skills.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication skills for conveying complex data insights.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Experience with HR systems and data is a strong asset.

This position requires fluency in English, supporting or collaborating with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders across Canada.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range
The expected base salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially including bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
