We are seeking a Specialist, Custody Services to deliver professional client service, support operational management, ensure compliance, and contribute to process improvements within our custody services team. The role involves researching and resolving client inquiries, maintaining strong relationships, supporting offshore teams, and participating in departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering professional service to Clients and Investment Managers within CS standards.
  • Researching and resolving inquiries promptly.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with clients, internal staff, and offshore teams.
  • Supporting ongoing CS initiatives and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Cross-training and acting as a backup for team members.
  • Monitoring account activities, supporting cash and trade processing, and ensuring timely market settlements.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Making process improvement suggestions and participating in training programs.
  • Participating in departmental or corporate committees and completing assigned quality tasks.

Qualifications include:

  • Community College or University degree.
  • Approximately 1 year of industry-related experience.
  • Canadian Securities Course (asset).
  • Good understanding of domestic and global markets.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and demonstrate client service skills.
