Job summary

CIBC Mellon in Toronto is seeking a Custody Services professional to support a portfolio of institutional clients with account oversight and risk management. Responsibilities

• Ensure professional service while researching and resolving Client and Investment Manager inquiries in order to maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
• Ensure large overdraft and idle cash balances are appropriately reported daily, by closely monitoring all activities.
• Assist the offshore team with cash and trade processing, during Business Continuity situations, or as deemed necessary by Management (i.e. high volumes) to ensure continued service.
• Validate Client and Investment Manager authorized signatures on all cash and securities instructions, ensure cash and securities instructions are complete and validate daily critical control functions to ensure timely market settlement of all cash and securities transactions to reduce market exposure.
• Maintain CDI database, Client and Investment Manager account procedures, authorized signature lists and other critical documents to ensure compliance and that policies and procedures are adhered to.

Position Overview

Job Specific Competencies

• The salary band for this position ranges between $44,000 - $67,000.
• A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $50,000 - $55,000 at the time of this posting. Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training, and internal equity.
