About the Role

Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for potential future bids and proposals. Performs analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Provides analysis of profit and loss related to potential future orders. Responsible for the review and analysis of individual bid cash positions as well as short-term and long-term cash forecasts. May perform analysis in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

This role is within the Program Finance and Pricing Team at the WESCAM Division, reporting to the Manager, Pricing & Programs Finance. The team consists of financial business partners who support various major departments and functions. Specifically, this position provides finance support to the Bids and Proposals / Business Development process, with a focus on providing financial analysis, pricing justification and proposal review package in support of winning contracts with customers. Additionally, being part of the core team and lead the annual update and routine maintenance of the Divisions Pricebook is one of the key responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models and templates required to analyze proposal financials and support the bid review and approval process.
• Support major proposals gate review meetings by providing financial information and presentation package.
• Assist with pricing decisions including historical pricing investigation and performing scenario analysis.
• Support custom product offerings by analyzing Bill of Materials (BOMs) and providing costing and pricing recommendations.
• Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the division Pricebook.
• Providing ongoing guidance and expertise related to program/bid financials to bids and proposal coordinators and other functional teams.
• Support the price justification process and related requirements for contract acceptance.
• Own the WESCAM spare part pricing process, including analysis and maintenance of the part pricing tool.
• Develop standard operating procedures to outline and document team processes.
