We have shifts available: Monday through Sunday, with an average of 30 hours per week and early start options.

Job Summary

The HCA is part of the home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to perform personal care services tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance/reminders
• Ambulation and transportation of clients
• Providing companionship
• Following care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• HCA certificate or equivalent (including foreign-trained nurses, nursing students)
• Fluent in Spanish (verbal)
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Current CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel within the territory
• Access to internet and mobile phone
