Job summary

Spaceium is building spacecraft systems and is seeking an Electrical Intern to work with our electrical engineering team on real spacecraft hardware. This hands-on role involves design, testing, and integration of electrical and electronic systems for missions.

You will assist with schematic capture and PCB layout, harness design, test supports, and documentation, collaborating with mechanical and software engineers in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic electronics, circuit analysis, and lab instrumentation.
• Exposure to at least one programming language (Python, C, or C++)
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Support schematic capture and PCB layout for spacecraft avionics.
• Assist with harness design, wiring, and integration.
• Help bring up, test, and debug electronic boards and subsystems.
• Support electrical testing including power, signal integrity, and functional tests.
• Contribute to documentation, test reports, and design reviews.
• Assist with lab setup, instrumentation, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers.
