Job summary

MDA Space in Canada is seeking a Software Integration System Engineer to bridge software, hardware, databases and networks into unified space-grade systems for current and next‑generation satellite programs. You will analyze, develop, test and maintain integrated solutions, lead IVV activities, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years in software system integration; strong English

Qualifications

Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in software system integration.
Hands-on with systems integration processes and testing.
Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
Strong written and oral English communication; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

Bridge software, hardware, databases and networks into unified space-grade systems for current and next-generation satellite programs.
Analyze, develop, test and maintain integrated solutions; lead IVV activities.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Review interfaces and support on-orbit and operations activities.
