Job summary

MDA Space in Montreal, Canada, seeks a Scheduler II to lead planning for satellite systems programs. You will coordinate design, procurement and manufacturing activities, maintain program schedules, and manage risks to ensure on-time delivery.

Strong English/French communication and solid knowledge of Primavera are essential. The role requires PMI-PMP as an asset and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management option or in commercial sciences.
• PMI-PMP Certification is an asset
• 5 years of relevant experience in a project management and/or production planning environment.
• Knowledge of French and English is essential (spoken and written)
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite and one project management software, preferably Primavera

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze medium-sized programs from design to delivery.
• Monitor schedules for on-time completion and coordinate with teams.
• Create and maintain schedules based on progress across design, procurement and AI&T.
• Review production readiness and launch timing into production.
• Identify schedule risks and opportunities; propose recovery plans.
• Record resources required per activity and manage material flow issues.
• Provide guidance to less experienced personnel when needed.
• Sign ECNs for items related to medium-sized programs.
