Job summary

A Canadian aerospace startup is seeking an Investor Relations & Capital Formation Manager to lead fundraising efforts for its orbital launch vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, along with over 5 years of experience in investor relations and a demonstrated ability to close funding rounds. This role will require strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to navigate a fast-paced startup environment. Full-time in Markham, Ontario, with occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investor relations, venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance.
• Demonstrated track record of closing funding rounds or major investment transactions.
• Experience managing investor pipelines, data rooms, and due-diligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead NordSpace’s capital formation strategy for the orbital launch vehicle and related programs.
• Engage with venture capital funds, private equity, and institutional investors.
• Develop and deliver investor-facing materials including pitch decks and financial models.
