The Space Planning Capabilities Manager plays a critical role in identifying sales opportunities through our planogram and assortment projects. They liaise with the GAC / GCC (Global Command Center) teams in India and manage projects from across Canada.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers / issues
  • Build consumer-focused solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of merchants
  • Leverage our Category Expert AI capability to support with clustering assortment and planogramming
  • Develop store clustering models by analyzing sales performance, shopper behavior, and demographic data to group retailers into meaningful segments for tailored category strategies.
  • Build and optimize assortment recommendations for key retail partners by leveraging shared customer data and identifying incremental category growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the global data science team to implement standardized shelving and clustering strategies, ensuring consistency and scalability in planogramming across all retail customers.
  • Analyze and track results and deliver them to customers
  • Other related tasks (creation and optimization of planograms, data analysis, etc.)

Job Qualifications

  • Post secondary education
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Category Management, or related fields
  • Experience as a vendor advisor, or in using planogramming tools
  • Analytical skills with the strength to be able to tell a meaningful and impactful story
  • Proficiency utilizing Excel and PowerPoint to manipulate and organize data
  • Familiarity using space planning software (JDA, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (IRI, Numerator, Shopper Intelligence, etc.) with ability to understand information, develop insights and identify opportunities when analyzing large data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to confidently present insights, opportunities and recommendations to internal or external stakeholders in a persuasive manner
