The Spa Therapists support their spa teams in all business areas, especially those that drive sales and enhance client experiences. This requires strong product and brand knowledge, positive team relationships, and participation in shop operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Sales:

• Provide excellent customer service by collaborating with your team to exceed daily sales goals and create a welcoming, needs-based experience for every client.
• Lead spa treatment preparation and delivery of the full catalog of spa services.
• Perform treatments to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Guide and inform customers throughout their spa experience.
• Build the brand by educating clients on our values and initiatives, including fighting animal testing, ethical buying, and sustainable packaging.
• Enhance product knowledge through continuous learning and make informed recommendations.
• Drive sales by building rapport and engaging with customers both in-store and through community networking.
• Stay updated on training for new products and treatments to support sales growth.

Operational Excellence:

• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring standards in treatment rooms, product integrity, workplace respect, and safety.
• Support inventory management and adhere to standards for product freshness and rotation.
• Maintain a clean, attractive environment following merchandising standards to enhance customer experience and sales.
• Be punctual, prepared, and communicative to support team success and personal well-being.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 1-2 years of massage therapy experience in spas or wellness locations, with a good understanding of spa business processes.
• Ability to learn and perform the full range of spa treatments offered.
• Interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices.
• Flexible availability including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Passion for wellness and delivering engaging client experiences.
• Excellent customer service skills and manual dexterity.
• Experience in client consultation.

• Experience working in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
• Spa therapy or massage therapy certification preferred.
• Experience with cross-cultural collaboration, DEIB, or social justice training.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, French, or other languages.
• Experience supporting community events and promotions.
