Durham College seeks a Spa Technologist to support lab courses in cosmetic and spa management programs. Payband : G; Starting Rate : $32.42; Four Year Rate : $37.57

Hours : 40 hours per week (1-hour lunch); Mon – Fri (scheduled between 7:30 am – 9:30 pm)
Reporting To : Spa Manager, Faculty of Business
Campus Location : Oshawa
Reporting to the Durham College Spa Manager, the technologist will handle shipments, acquire quotations, organize inventory, coordinate and prepare equipment and supplies to support practical and laboratory courses in the Cosmetic Techniques and Management, Esthetician-Spa Management, and Massage Therapy programs (CTMG, ESMG, and MAST).

QUALIFICATIONS :
1. A minimum of a 2-year diploma or equivalent in Esthetician Spa Management.
2. 1-2 years of operational experience in a spa environment.
3. Up-to-date CPR, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications.
4. Excellent office administration and customer service skills.
5. Knowledge of health and safety standards, industry equipment, and inventory control.
6. Experience with spa systems and maintenance protocols.
