This involves engaging with learners, families, and the community to provide authentic educational experiences that respect and incorporate traditional practices. Successful candidates will have a passion for language instruction and a commitment to fostering strong ties within the community.

GREY MOUNTAIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (GMP) – Whitehorse
Home to the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'anKwäch'än Council, Grey Mountain Primary school is one of 11 Yukon schools that have joined the newly established First Nation School Board (FNSB) in the Yukon. Southern Tutchone is the traditional language of Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'anKwäch'än Council people.
Grey Mountain Primary school is a K-3 school with approximately 90 students. We are actively seeking committed and qualified educators who are dedicated to living and being an active member of the community. Our educational professionals value authentic relationships and are committed to working with students, community, administration and the FNSB to make positive, progressive changes to education outcomes for learners of Grey Mountain Primary.
