Overview

Ready to build a career as a future leader in the building/landscape or pool distribution industry? Our Management Trainee (MIT) Program offers a fast track to success.

Our 9–12-month Management Trainee Program provides hands-on experience in various facets of our business, including warehouse operations, sales, finance, safety, supply chain, and human resources. The program aims to develop future leaders within SRS Distribution/Heritage, preparing you for roles such as Branch Manager and beyond through on-the-job training, mentorship, and corporate development initiatives.

Candidate Profile
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive.
  • Willing to relocate for training and promotions; training occurs in two branches, with approximately 50% in each location.
  • Aspiring to start a management career as an Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, or Operations Manager.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership qualities and work ethic.
  • Proven responsibility and accountability, with experience in organizations, clubs, volunteer work, community service, athletics, or military service valued.
  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, strategic thinking, organization, and time management.
Program Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or within 2 semesters of graduation; degrees in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business Management, Construction Management, or similar preferred.
  • Alternatively, 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to relocate within the U.S. for training and promotions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Positions are available at our office-based branches in Florida, North Carolina, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Arkansas.
