What You’ll Do:

  • Produce quality food experiences for our guests, lead the kitchen team, and hire amazing people to join our team.
  • Work with the Chef to maintain kitchen organization, efficiency, and supervise all food preparation ensuring presentation, quality, and standards are met.
  • Ensure cooking stations are stocked for peak operation hours and coordinate ordering of supplies to meet kitchen needs, on budget and on time.
  • Lead the kitchen team with the Chef, providing guidance, training, and recognizing opportunities for improvement of kitchen team members.
  • Manage food and product ordering, keep detailed records, minimize waste, and verify proper food storage that meets all regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Verify the food storage system is functioning correctly and that all staff understands the importance of proper food product dating and organization.
  • Act as an ambassador of our employer brand, seeking top talent and assisting with hiring for the kitchen team.

What You Have:

  • 2-3 years culinary experience is required.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory kitchen role.
  • Food Safety certification and knowledge of its application.
  • Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while remaining calm and collected.
  • Amazing team player with a knack for bringing others together towards a common goal.
  • Ability to connect with people and build trusting relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of effective communication and workplace culture.
  • Ability to consider different perspectives and be open to new approaches.
  • Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Flexible schedule required.
