Qualifications

  • Provincial certifications for alcohol service and food preparation required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen activities and staff, ensuring resources are sufficient
  • Maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Develop, provide feedback, and direct staff performance and customer service
  • Contribute to menu and budget development
  • Identify business opportunities and oversee their development
  • Collaborate with casino management and participate in initiatives
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper storage of food products
  • Stay updated on policies, regulations, products, and services

What You Bring

  • Two to five years experience in restaurant supervision or equivalent
  • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or restaurant management (asset)
  • Red Seal or equivalent certification (asset)
  • Provincial certifications for alcohol service and food preparation
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, email, POS, and inventory control
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
