We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at La Palma. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate hospitality company driven by providing memorable dining experiences in downtown Toronto.
Candidates must have a passion for cooking quality dishes from scratch and take pride in leading our team of cooks in the execution of our fresh, local ingredient-driven food program.
What You Bring:
An experienced Sous Chef who leads by example and takes pride in your craft
Strong knowledge of food cost, labor management, inventory, and waste control
Experience in training, mentoring, and leading a team of cooks
A calm and confident approach to high-volume service, leading with grace and adaptability
Exceptional communication skills and a passion for fostering a positive team culture
A collaborative mindset—ready to work with our culinary leaders on menu development and innovation
Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
