WE LOVE OUR WORK.
- Organize, supervise, and prepare all food items, maintaining quality and quantity control, and presenting food according to established standards.
- Supervise food preparation, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation standards are met.
- Schedule staff based on forecasted volume.
- Collaborate with F&B Department Heads on service concepts, policies, procedures, and menus.
- Ensure guest requests for special food items are fulfilled.
- Assign daily duties to staff.
- Work with Stewarding and Engineering to keep areas clean, stocked, and equipment maintained.
- Review recipes regularly for profitability.
- Follow purchasing and receiving procedures.
- Adhere to cost control procedures.
- Review food requisitions, transfers, and production quantities; verify special requests with the Executive Chef.
- Adjust labor schedules based on forecasted volume to control costs.
- Enforce sanitation and health regulations to prevent food spoilage and contamination.
- Inspect food deliveries for quality.
- Inform Managers about menu changes due to seasonal availability and develop daily specials.
- Assist in introducing new dishes and testing items.
- Make menu recommendations for future planning, holidays, and promotions.
- Maintain standards for food quality and presentation.
- Post food pictures and keep recipes updated for consistency.
- Ensure all food is checked for taste, temperature, and visual appeal.
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely.
- Supervise training of culinary staff on food prep standards.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Guest service experience preferred.
- Culinary degree preferred; experience may substitute.
- Minimum of 7 years culinary experience.
- Knowledge of health requirements for kitchen staff.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to perform supervisory tasks.
- Advanced food preparation skills and knowledge of weights, measures, and recipes.
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools and appliances.
- Responsible for staff development, performance evaluations, and staffing decisions.
