Job summary

Emterra Group in Regina, SK is seeking a sorter/labourer to join our team. The role involves sorting recyclable materials and assisting with yard operations.

The position is scheduled for up to 32 hours per week, with hours varying based on operational requirements. We value safety and reliability; you will sort materials, remove contaminants, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to company policies and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to understand and respond to questions, instructions, signs, signals and safety training.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Able to perform repetitive/physical tasks and lift up to 25 lb.
• Able to work shifts.
• Able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all Company policies.
• Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is utilized.
• Inspect materials and sort items into designated areas.
• Pull contaminants from sorting line.
• Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.
• Report system problems immediately to Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and surrounding area.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record.

Job Summary

Emterra is currently seeking for a sorter/labourer to joinour team at our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for sortingrecyclable materials and assisting with the overall operation of the yard. Thesorter/labourer is responsible to ensure unacceptable materials are removedfrom recycling or to be re-directed. This position is scheduled for up to 32hours per week, with hours varying based on operational requirements.
