ManpowerGroup, Inc. is seeking a Sorter Relief in St. Johns, NL to support both Courier deliveries and warehouse sorting duties. This hands-on role helps keep daily delivery schedules on track by stepping in as coverage is needed and coordinating with Dispatch and customers.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid Class 5 driver's license, 3 years driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. English proficiency is essential for clear stakeholder communications.

Responsabilidades

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
• Scan packages as received, delivered, or returned to the depot at day end.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and E-DVIR.
• Sort and separate freight by destination, weight, size and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
• Unload and load freight to/from conveyors and trucks, including scanning shipments for proper sorting and priority deliveries.

Our client, a logistics and distribution operation, is seeking a Sorter Relief to join their team in St. Johns, NL. As a Sorter Relief, you’ll help keep daily delivery schedules on track by stepping in where coverage is needed—supporting both Courier deliveries and warehouse sorting duties as assigned. Job Title: Sorter Relief

Location: 16 Duffy Pl, St. John's, NL

Pay Rate: $19.28/21.84 per hour

Shift: Shift: 25 hours/week - Availability to provide flexible coverage by performing both Courier deliveries and warehouse sorting duties as needed.

What's the Job?

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules, and resolve issues as they arise in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
• Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR).
• Sort and separate freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
• Unload and load freight to/from conveyors, curbside trucks, and linehaul/cube trucks or trailers, including scanning shipments to identify improperly sorted items and priority/weekend deliveries.

What's Needed?

• Education: Completion of High School and specific vocational courses.
• License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Experience: 3 years of driving experience and a clean driver’s abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
• Physical readiness: Ability to lift/lower up to 70 pounds and perform standing, reaching, sorting, and wrist/lower back movements as required.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required due to frequent communications with stakeholders.
