Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs various technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Ultrasound Technology. The primary goal is to provide the best possible healthcare, with diagnostic procedures contributing directly to this goal.

The technologist operates and maintains specialized ultrasound equipment, performing procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, and safety criteria suitable for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARRT registration with ultrasound experience. ARDMS registration in at least two categories. CPR certification. Prior ultrasound experience. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Department of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
