Permanent Casual – SONOGRAPHER
The Ottawa Fertility Centre is recruiting for a Permanent Casual Sonographer to contribute to the Centre’s vision to be an innovative centre in fertility care and assisted reproductive medicine to help build families. The performance of ultrasound examinations during fertility treatments and investigations is crucial to the operations of the Ottawa Fertility Centre. Accurate and consistent measurements are critical to the success of ART cycles. With this in mind the sonographer has a very important and specialized roll in the Ottawa Fertility Centre.

The Ottawa fertility Centre is accredited by Accreditation Canada and pursues standards of excellence in all areas of its operations. The Sonographer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications include: Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma; Current and up-to-date CMRTO certification; Certification as RDMS (OB GYN) is also preferred; Experience and comfort with trans-vaginal ultrasonography; General understanding of assisted reproductive technologies (or willingness to learn); Compassion for the suffering of infertile couples; Willingness to learn about fertility related ultrasound; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team; Analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently; Ability to manage conflicting demands; Above average skills in computer applications; Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in written format; bilingualism french/english and asset, and Training abilities.
