A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Sonographer for its Radiology Department. The University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown (located at 500 E. Market Street, Iowa City, IA) Radiology Department is seeking to hire for one position at either the Sonographer (Pay Grade 5) or Sr. Sonographer (Pay Grade 7) level, based on qualifications. Please specify in your cover letter which position you are applying for, or indicate both.
University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown is a 194-bed hospital that joined Iowa’s comprehensive academic health system on Jan. 31, 2024.
Selective candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000. Current UI employees are not eligible.
Responsibilities include performing complex radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment, participating in teaching and advising, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare staff.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3pm-11:30pm, with call rotation and holiday shifts.
