Our core software was created to reduce the complexity of cryptocurrency adoption, usage, and management. We are a team that strongly believes in the cryptocurrency-oriented future for the financial world. As we continue to scale with leading enterprises—including crypto-native funds, foundations, and financial institutions—we're hiring a Solutions Sales Engineer to lead technical sales and proof-of-concept demonstrations for our most strategic prospects.

You will be the technical expert who ensures prospects see exactly how Cryptoworth solves their specific accounting challenges during the sales process. This role offers significant growth potential - as we scale, there will be opportunities to build and manage a team of Solutions Sales Engineers across different market segments and verticals. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, requiring at least 2 days per week in the office to collaborate with our team and deliver hands-on implementation support.

Technical Sales & Proof-of-Concept Development

  • Lead product demonstrations that directly address prospects' specific accounting pain points
  • Conduct technical discovery calls to understand reconciliation requirements and existing workflows
  • Design and execute proof-of-concept implementations using prospect data and scenarios
  • Partner with sales team to position technical solutions and overcome objections during the sales cycle
  • Quickly assess whether prospects need simple balance verification or complex enterprise features

Pre-Sales Technical Consulting

  • Create custom demo environments that mirror prospect's actual data and use cases
  • Present technical proposals and implementation approaches to prospect teams
  • Handle technical questions from CFOs, CTOs and accounting teams during sales meetings
  • Identify integration requirements and potential implementation challenges before closing
  • Support trial evaluations and sandbox testing with prospects
  • Solutions Design & Positioning

  • Translate complex prospect requirements into clear technical solutions
  • Create compelling technical presentations and proposal materials
  • Develop ROI calculations and business cases for technical implementations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on prospect-specific feature requirements
  • Maintain deep expertise in competitor solutions and positioning against alternatives
  • What We're Looking For

    Required Experience

  • 3-5 years in technical sales, solutions engineering, or pre-sales consulting roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and audit requirements
  • Experience building proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations for B2B software
  • Proven track record of supporting complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Preferred Background

  • Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or DeFi protocols
  • Previous work with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) or financial data platforms
  • Background in fintech, financial services, consulting, or audit / compliance
  • Technical degree or relevant financial / accounting certifications
