Degree/Certifications Required: Computer science or related – Azure certification nice to have
Years of experience: 10yrs
Interaction with Stakeholders: 10%-20%
Project Scope: Building data retention capability – Data assets (Focus Fraud)
Selling Points of Position: Working within a leading FI organization

Background:

• Ideally from an FI

Summary of day to day responsibilities:

• Work with Business system analysis to understand requirements and assist in the design of solutions.
• Consume technical specifications/design and turn into working solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and SSIS.
• Perform unit testing on code.
• Participate in code reviews of other developers’ code.
• Attend Agile ceremonies and keep the team updated on progress and blockers of your task.
• Produce documentation on solution and participate in hand over meetings.

Must Have:

• Databricks 2-3yrs
• Python 2-5yrs
• Azure data factory 2-3yrs
• TSQL 2-3yrs
• GIT

Nice To Have:

• SSIS
• General Azure exp
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence
